Beef Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients
50 ml butter
1 pinch seasoning salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
chopped green onions
1 tbsp minced garlic
Directions
In a medium frying pan cook ground beef fully breaking off into small pieces. Add in mushrooms and garlic and cook mushrooms till soft.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Once boiling add pasta and cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes. Once finished drain and set aside.
While pasta is cooking melt butter in a medium sauce pan. Whisk in flour, seasoning salt and pepper to melted butter. Cook for approx. 20 seconds.
Gradually add milk to butter and flour mixture whisking briskly. Bring to a boil until slightly thickened and remove from heat.
Add cheddar cheese, ground beef and cooked pasta to milk mixture and stir until combined. Put pasta into bowls and garnish with green onion.
