In a medium bowl beat butter and sugars till creamed mixture forms. Mix in egg and vanilla till combined.
In a separate medium bowl mix together flour, salt and baking soda. Gradually mix in creamed mixture.
Line baking sheet with parchment and drop batter into tablespoon sized balls. Put a single piece of the Caramilk bar into each batter ball. Make sure the piece of Caramilk is fully covered in the cookie batter.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes till cookies are lightly browned. Cool on a wire wrack.
