Jalapeno & Bacon Quiche
Ingredients
2 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup shredded jalapeno jack cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small frying pan melt butter. Add in onion and garlic and cook till caramelized over medium/low heat.
Separate the cream cheese into dime sized dollops spread out evenly on the bottom of the pie crust. Layer the bacon, onion and cheese in the bottom of the pie shell spreading evenly.
Crack the eggs into a medium bowl and whisk together. Add in cream and continue to whisk until combined. Pour into the pie shell and sprinkle with pepper.
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes until eggs are cooked fully. You can test this by inserting a knife into the middle of you quiche. If it comes out clean then it is cooked completely.
