Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 tsp instant yeast

1 1/4 cups warm water

1/4 cup olive oil

1 pinch salt

Directions

In a medium bowl mix together all purpose flour, whole wheat flour and salt.

In a separate medium bowl combine water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow yeast to activate.

Make a well in the flour mixture and add in olive oil and yeast mixture. Knead dough until well mixed.

Place dough into a lightly oiled bowl cover with saran and allow to rise for 2 - 3 hours.

Place dough on a floured surface and cut into six even pieces. Lightly knead each piece of dough.

Cover pans in parchment paper and form each section of dough into a flat oval and place on parchment lined pans. Make sure to leave some room between each bun to allow to rise. Cover with saran and allow to rise for an hour and a half.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 15 - 28 minutes till lightly browned.
