Ingredients

50 ml butter

50 ml flour

350 ml milk

1 pinch pepper

1 pinch seasoning salt

500 ml shell pasta

1 cup shredded white cheddar

1/2 cup bacon bits

1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos

1/2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add spinach and cook till just wilted and set aside.

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Once boiling add pasta and cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes. Once finished drain and set aside.

While pasta is cooking melt butter in a medium sauce pan.

Whisk in flour, seasoning salt and pepper to melted butter. Cook for approx. 20 seconds.

Gradually add milk to butter and flour mixture whisking briskly. Bring to a boil until slightly thickened and remove from heat.

Add cheddar cheese, spinach, jalapeños, bacon and cooked pasta to milk mixture and stir until combined.
