Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 pinch salt

1/2 cup softened unsalted butter

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1/2 tsp almond extract

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup milk

1 pint diced strawberries

1/2 cup Nutella

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line muffin pans with muffin liners.

In a medium bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt.

In a separate large bowl cream butter with sugar till combined and soft. Add eggs one at a time mixing fully in between each addition. Add in vanilla and almond extracts.

Add half of the flour to the butter mixture mix fully then add in milk. Mix in the remaining flour till batter is mixed completely.

Set aside a 1/2 cup of strawberries (for topping). Fold in remaining strawberries to the batter. Drop batter into the muffin tins.

Spoon about a tablespoon of nutella on to the top of each of the muffins. Swirl nutella into the batter into desired pattern with a toothpick or knife. Top with strawberries that were set aside.

Bake muffins in the oven for 30 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a cooling rack and serve.
